The Comedy Works Bristol (located inside Georgine’s Restaurant, 1320 Newport Rd., Bristol, Pa) celebrates the pre-holidays with another exclusive Saturday night Comedy show on November 23, featuring Tom “The Coach” Whitely and Mel Harris. The show starts at 8 PM and will also have a guest host and MC. Our Comedy Room features café seating with tables to relax at while enjoying your show!
You don't have to like football to love "The Coach," comedian Tom Whitley’s raspy-voiced, bug-eyed other self.
Whitely, a real football coach, originally coached at the same high school that was featured in the 1989 film with Morgan Freeman about Eastside High school in Patterson, NJ.
Outfitted in Knute Rockne-era garb, Whitely scores big laughs with his carefully crafted monologues and high-adrenaline performance. Wildly unique, and consistently funny, Whitely is the special comedian audiences will remember as one of the funny Comedy shows that they have attended in a great while.
Tom Whitely has appeared at many of the nation's best comedy venues such as New York City's famous Dangerfield's and Atlantic City's prestigious Borgata Hotel. "The Coach" has been featured on television's ESPN, appeared on the Chris Rock Show and Good Morning America (ABC).
Mel Harris, comedian, writer, host, actor, and producer. Known for his over the top freestyle comedy, lively stage presence and ability to make an audience just love him.
Mel realized he was a natural on the microphone after hosting a music showcase at the historic Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts. Trying his hand at comedy for the first time at the Millcreek Tavern in Philadelphia, Mel was definitely on the right path. When he returned two weeks later he found himself listed as a feature and his face planted on the flyer.
Also appearing will be Depalma Florentine and a special guest Comedian.
You never know who is going to show up to do a guest set and work out new material. The Comedy Works Bristol is the perfect place for Stand-up Comedy with over 40 years of history in the Philadelphia area. Unlike many of the Comedy Clubs in the area, we feature great Comedy with NO drink minimums, FREE Parking and tableside wait staff service.
Tickets are limited and all seating is reserved and unlike many clubs, we do have some limited café seating.
The doors will be open at 7:00 PM with great food (small plate fare) or drinks available before or during the show at reasonable prices. (additional cost)

The Comedy Works Bristol reserves the right to prevent customers from entering the Comedy Room who they deem disruptive or dangerous to other patrons. We also reserve the right to remove anyone who interrupts the show with excessive talking or heckling during the show that will interfere with other patrons who are respectful and know how to act during the performance. There are NO exceptions.
Tickets for this special night of Comedy can be pre-purchased ON-LINE for $50 for one ticket that admits 2 people. Tickets are $25.00 for each person at the door and NO processing fees. 215-741-1661.
