Derek Lee headlines this special show and is a remarkable showman who’s perfected his craft, making him a modern master of Comedy and Magic.
Philadelphia-born Lee has turned something that he enjoys doing into a full time profession that he has been doing for over 25 years. He says "the most rewarding part of being a Comedic Magician is when you love what you do; it’s not a job. I have met thousands of people across this great country."
Lee first started dressing up as clown for parties because his friends stated that they couldn’t afford one. Then he was trained magic by the great Master Magician, Chris Capehart. From there he started doing Comedy as a transition into his Magic performance.
Derek is proud of his accomplishments and he has earned raves for his high energy Comedy and Magic performances. He has appeared on BET’s “Comic View”, the “Dr. OZ” syndicated TV show, “Showtime at the Apollo”, Philadelphia’s FOX 29, “The Q Show”, “Good Day Philadelphia” and the nationally syndicated “Tom Joyner Morning Show”.
Comedian Tom Nemec has a personable somewhat autobiographical style of comedy. Growing up in a crazy dysfunctional family gives him a lot of ammo for his comedy writing arsenal.
Tom can be seen as the Fire Chief in the movie "Green Point Tavern". He has appeared in a few different web series. "Bruber" and “PN & Friends”.
Tom has also created his own children's book. "Owenopolis". A day in the life of a little boy from Brooklyn, New York. Currently he is working on a solo show called "A Cat in A Box" that is a little bit more of the serious side of growing up in his dysfunctional family.
Tom use to have a T-Shirt for sale that said (and summed up most of his act) “You can be happy…just don’t get your hopes up!
Also on the show will be a guest Comedian.
You never know who is going to show up to do a guest set and work out new material. The Comedy Works Bristol is the perfect place for Stand-up Comedy with over 40 years of history in the Philadelphia area. Unlike many of the Comedy Clubs in the area, we feature great Comedy with NO drink minimums, FREE Parking and tableside wait staff service. Tickets are limited and all seating is reserved and unlike many clubs, we do have some limited café seating.

The Comedy Works Bristol reserves the right to prevent customers from entering the Comedy Room who they deem disruptive or dangerous to other patrons. We also reserve the right to remove anyone who interrupts the show with excessive talking or heckling during the show that will interfere with other patrons who are respectful and know how to act during the performance.
