The Comedy Works Bristol, located inside Georgine’s Restaurant, 1320 Newport Rd, Bristol, Pa. is presenting a special night of Comedy with internet sensation Anthony Rodia.
The Comedy show will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at 9:30 pm.
Headlining the show is Anthony Rodia who is a 1st generation Italian Comedian born and raised in Westchester NY. He has always had a way of turning any situation into comedy!
Using Social Media as his platform, Anthony has exploded onto the Comedy scene out of nowhere, making quite a name for himself and building a large fan base. He has been selling out Comedy Clubs and large venues up and down the East Coast.
He is better known as the wacky "Uncle Vinny" on social media where he has over 75,000 followers on Facebook! Anthony is known for his hilarious skits, song parodies, And his weekly "Road Rage Wednesday" using his popular character "Uncle Vinny".
A big topic of his show that many people relate to is making fun of his Italian parents. He impersonates his mother and father, as he mimics their accents to a tee. He also likes to make fun of Italian grandmothers, especially for having "no filter" at special occasions and expressing whatever is on their mind. "Nobody understands Italians," like he does.
Also on the show is "Goumba Johnny" Sialiano who is a Radio Host, Comedian, Actor and Author that was born in the Bronx and entered into the radio industry after many career changes. With his natural quick wit and charm, Johnny has joined the ranks of other comedians by performing stand-up at popular comedy clubs like Caroline’s in Manhattan, Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods in Connecticut, and the Borgata and Caesars Palace in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Opening the show is Vietnam Veteran, Billy Terrell who is a Comedian, songwriter, producer, and author who went on to produce over 63 records across multiple genres with artists like Helen Reddy, Maria Muldaur, Lorrie Morgan, David Clayton Thomas, and of course, Frankie Avalon. He began his Comedy career in the mid-1980s, at one point touring 200 nights a year for six consecutive years.
More recently he decided to document his experiences in his new autobiography, “The Other Side of Rock and War: One Man’s Battle to Save His Life, His Career, His Country, and the Orphans He Left Behind.” The book is co-authored by noted CBS reporter Rich Podolsky with a foreword by Frankie Avalon.
